Dear parents and children,
We hope you have been enjoying the wonderful weather. We are now uploading some more tasks and activities for after the half-term, which you might want to complete at home. There are a range of different activities for you to choose from, including; English, Maths, Science and other subjects such as History, Geography, DT and Computing.
Each day, please try to:
- complete a section of Maths
- complete an English task
- practise spellings daily (your look, say, cover, write, check sheets are here on the website)
- practise times tables daily e.g. play TT Rockstar
- read for 15 minutes
- watch BBC Newsround
(Some of the tasks have three different levels of questions: * easier, ** harder, *** hardest.)
As a Year 5 team, we would love to see what you are getting up to at home. Use the Year 5 Padlet to show us what you have been doing and you can add comments. Don't forget to put your name on your post. You can also email any of us with pictures or videos of what you have been doing.
