I am sure that you by now have heard the government announcement made on Tuesday 9th June 2020 that the remaining children in Years 3, 4 and 5 will not be returning to school until September unless individual schools have capacity. As it stands at the moment, and if safety guidance remains unchanged, then we are unfortunately unable to take any more year groups back into school. To say we are very saddened by this is an understatement. We miss you all and we miss the school being the busy hive of learning that it usually is.
In response to this class teachers are going to set up Zoom calls with their classes to happen over the coming weeks. There will be 3 calls before the end of term and details of this will be sent to you shortly. It will be a chance for face to face conversations about what children have been up to and a chance for classmates to see each other.
We will also be sending home end of year reports in July based on the progress your children were making before lock down began. We will continue to update and add to our home learning pages on our website throughout this term. If you have any concerns or need any help with home learning, please email teachers on their class email. They also really enjoy seeing what your children have been up to whilst at home via Padlet.
We hope you are all safe and well, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
